Learning

Our BELIEF

Education is the nurturing and shaping of every aspect of the student: academic, intellectual, physical, emotional, interpersonal and spiritual. A focus on self-esteem, learning of life skills, creative thinking, problem solving and reading with understanding is the nucleus of our educational program. Amber Valley is a welcoming learning space, where students are encouraged to explore and ask. The approach to learning, gaining knowledge and skills is interdisciplinary and interconnected, representative of the real world.

Grades 8-12

10:1 - Student to faculty ratio

Continuing the process of learning to communicate with clarity and precision, sufficient care is taken to prepare students for the ICSE/ISC exams with a well laid-out routine of unit tests, end-term exams and practice exams. The teaching methodology at Senior School focuses on rigor in writing and thinking. But it also goes beyond that and seeks to raise the level of consciousness to lead students towards being self-aware and discerning young adults, who are ready to take on interpersonal challenges, and can thrive as they impact society positively.

10 & 11 Grade

10th Grade – The first Public exam is an ensured success through the efforts of teachers to push individual students to seriously put in an effort – an effort that they are capable of, and the attitude to put in serious work.

11th Grade – The school has an array of Science, Humanities and Commerce subjects to choose from that can be taken along with stand alone Elective English, Art, and Physical Education. The small class size successfully navigates the students through troubled emotional growth helping their performance for admission into preferred colleges coupled with the development of leadership skills and responsibility under a safety net that a home or college environment cannot match. The logical continuation is 11th Grade after 10th Grade.
